PHOTOS USED FOR MY MAGAZINE

My magazine theme is 'Autumn Term', so i decided to take pictures of the students outside to show the Autumn scenery around the school. The photos show the girls happy and surrounded by the nature and grounds of the school. Before i could take pictures of the girls, for magazine i had to ask for their permission and the girls signed a letter of consent, so I
am legally able to use the photos.

I then took photos of the girls around the school, and experimented in different locations, to make the pictures look as autumnal themed as possible.

This is the picture that i will be using as my front cover, as it is taken from the waist and upwards of the students it is appropriate and follows the conventions of a magazine. I have taken the picture so i have enough space for the mast head and logo. In the background of the picture i have included a tree, this portrays that the magazine is autumnal themed, also the nature in the picture connotes a sense of tranquility and is aesthetically pleasing to the audience. The dark colour of the jumpers allows me to input cover lines so the audience will be able to read them. 

This is the main image that i will be using for my contents page. I feel that this image conveys the autumnal theme well, as the students are throwing the fallen leaves into the air. The students are happy, and excited to start a new term. The image features the school on the background and some of the schools grounds and nature, which again connotes a sense of tranquility and appeals to the reader. 

These images shows the girls at the school, chatting and having fun, which shows friendship with in the school. I will use these photos as a smaller features on the contents page to surround text and to give the page character. I have used the same models through out the images as i think it is far more professional, and sticks to a theme.
